Collaboration is a buzzword that has surfaced in the quest to answer the question, “What should our schools of the future look like?”
But what if there was a way, as Matt Beaudreau asks, to truly collaborate with all the stakeholders, with an outcome that is the antithesis of the status quo in our schools?
David Dennis’ working title for his upcoming TEDxSantaCruz talk is “Homelessness, Surfboards, and Living a Well-Rounded Life.” Bez Maxwell’s is “Using the Female Orgasm in Life.”
They are the latest confirmed speakers for TEDxSantaCruz: Radical Collaboration, which will take place April 24 at the Rio Theatre.

Here they come! The announcements of two more speakers — two UC Santa Cruz professors, well-versed in the theme of Radical Collaboration — to the TEDxSantaCruz lineup!
Dr. Barbara Rogoff is a psychology professor who studies the cultural aspects of learning and collaboration among children.
And the first confirmed speaker? It’s Dr. David Haussler, known for his work leading the team that assembled the first human genome sequence in the race to complete the Human Genome Project.
